I have had work experience in renewable energy and environmental design combined with academic background in architecture and building science, with primary interest in sustainable practices. While working for Solar Brokers Canada, I was able to enhance my proficiency in generating visual reports through preparing preliminary system design of solar panel installations for over 800 clients. I also have experience in editing and formatting course manuals for Green Roof Professional accreditation at Green Roofs for Healthy Cities, as well as peer-reviewing research papers related to green infrastructure.
This past year, I have traveled to Japan and Korea as a volunteer on several organic farms through WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) organization. It was a fantastic opportunity for me to engage in the local community by promoting cultural and educational experiences while learning about organic food and lifestyles. I had a great pleasure of working with other volunteers from different backgrounds who are equally interested in and passionate about sustainable agriculture and environmental leadership.
